Many thanks to Dorian at Auddict for the interesting hire - sampling the 1974 Martin D-28 for a sound library project. Nothing new in sampling, but to create a sound library for a specific guitar, model and year, that's new - and a unique approach to immortalising a vintage guitar for the future.

Very kind feedback for a hire that had to go well - a retirement party for a long-serving leader, with part of the send-off being a song written especially for the event. The guitar was in great condition, it was reasonably priced, he brought it to my Leman Locke hotel (and picked it up) right on time, and - he was a nice guy and fun to talk to. A second time hire for singer/songwriter Danny McGuire - also based in South-East London, and also serving a far wider audience that just South-East London ;-). This time the lovely 1982 natural ash-bodied P-Bass - toppy sounds and attack for his latest material. Can't wait to hear the results!

Great to have super-talented guitarist Jemil taking the Arctic White Strat out for a couple of gigs, including a show with The Hics, at London's Amazing Grace on 9 October 2023. Not the first time Jemil has hired this Strat, but the biggest night he's yet given it. Always delivers!

Not just any gig, but the launch gig for Yaz's latest single Spark, at Notting Hill Arts Centre. Krishna's amp was in for repair, so he went for the Fender Hot Rod DeVille - just the tone and headroom he needed for a big gig!
